Trained as an
animator and film editor at Sarah Lawrence College, Bill
Elliston's early work and passion is still focused on
educational shorts and children's entertainment. An
internship with Jim Jarmusch, in 1998, gave him his
first taste of the production work that goes into film.
Bill's first actual taste of producing came at the
end of college when he produced The Samurai Dream, an award-winning film directed by Mike Wei. Bill's love of production then led him
to start Blue Cat Pictures. A number of
talented artists have worked with Bill for Blue Cat Pictures directly
and in collaborative productions. Bellow
is a list of the productions associated with Blue Cat Pictures and/or
Bill Elliston.
